Pole Mounted Rod Rack – Installation Guide

Before You Begin

  • Inspect all components to ensure nothing is damaged or missing
  • Use the included 5/32” Allen wrench for installation
  • Two flush mount spacers are included (1.6” and 1.5”) for proper fitment
  • Ensure slot nuts are oriented with the flat side facing outward
  • Tip: Pre-installing attachment brackets onto the pole can make setup easier

Installation Steps

  1. Insert Poles
    Place the poles into the pre-installed flush mount rod holder bases on your kayak.
  2. Attach the Bar
    Partially tighten the adjustment knobs and align the bar evenly across the kayak and tighten the bolts on the bottom of the brackets using the provided 5/32” Allen wrench.
  3. Level the Bar
    Rotate the bar until it sits flat and level.
  4. Secure the Brackets
    Tighten the adjustment knobs on the brackets to lock everything into place.
  5. Install Attachments
    Mount your rod holders and accessories as desired.

Fixed Mount Mounting Pad – Installation Guide

Before You Start

  • Inspect all components — make sure nothing is damaged or missing
  • Tools required:(Drill, 5/32" drill bit, Phillips head driver)

Installation Steps

1. Set Your Position
Place the mounting pads on your kayak where you want them installed.
Make sure both pads are even, straight, and parallel before drilling.

2. Drill Pilot Holes
Start with one hole.
Center the 5/32” drill bit in the mounting hole and drill your pilot hole.

3. Fasten It Down
Install the screw and tighten until snug.
Do not over-tighten — you can strip the hole.

4. Repeat the Process
Repeat drilling and fastening for all remaining holes.

5. Mount the Rod Rack Once pads are secured, install your rod rack following the Fixed/Track Mounted Rod Rack instructions.

  3. Level the Bar
    Rotate the bar until it sits flat and level.
  4. Secure the Brackets
    Tighten the adjustment knobs on the brackets to lock everything into place.
  5. Install Attachments
    Mount your rod holders and accessories as desired.

  4. Install the Attachment
    Tighten the adjustment knobs on the brackets to lock everything into place.

Extensions Arms– Installation Guide

Before You Begin

Installation Steps

  1. Remove Bar
    Remove the bar if previously atached.
  2. Place Extension Arms
    Make sure the access channel for the slots is the upper brackets and partially tighten the knob to the lower bracket.
  3. Attach the Bar
    Partially tighten the adjustment knobs and align the bar evenly across the kayak and tighten the bolts on the bottom of the brackets using the provided 5/32” Allen wrench.
  4. Level the Bar
    Rotate the bar until it sits flat and level.
  5. Secure the Brackets
    Tighten the adjustment knobs on the brackets to lock everything into place.
